Session 1 vs Session 2 — Which Score Will Be Used?

This is the most important question for students who appeared in both sessions.

✅ Your BEST aggregate percentile across Session 1 and Session 2 will be considered for the MHT CET 2026 merit list.

What Happens Next — CAP Counselling 2026

With all PCM results now declared, the MHT CET 2026 CAP Counselling process will begin soon. Here is what to expect:

Step 1 — Merit List Released

CET Cell will compile all candidates' best scores and release a Provisional Merit List. You can raise grievances if you spot any discrepancy.

Step 2 — Final Merit List

After resolving all grievances, the Final Merit List is published. Your State General Merit Number on this list determines your seat across all CAP rounds.

Step 3 — CAP Round 1, 2, 3

Three rounds of centralized seat allotment. You fill a preference list of colleges and branches — seats are allotted based on your merit rank and availability.
